Garment sampling includes two key parts:
1. Sample making of fabrics and accessories
2. Design verification and production of clothing patterns.
Today, let's talk about the customization of fabric and clothing samples. First, the manufacturer checks whether the composition, proportion, yarn count and density of the grey fabric meet the customer's requirements. We have rich experience in customizing camouflage clothing production for countries around the world. For high-demand grey fabrics, we usually keep ready stock.
For example, we have more than 100 varieties of ready stock, including tear-stop, T/C (polyester/cotton) fabric 65/35, yarn count 20*16, 102*58, 16*16, 98*55, CVC cloth, N/C (nylon/cotton) fabric, T/R cloth, T/C (polyester/cotton) twill fabric, etc.
For varieties with grey fabric stock, we can proceed directly to the next step of printing and dyeing sampling during the sampling process, which speeds up turnaround time and reduces costs. However, for special fabrics requested by customers, we do not have grey fabric stock and we need to do grey fabric sampling first. The textile mill will prepare the yarn according to the customer's composition ratio, adjust the machine, and then take samples. Grey fabric samples usually take about 20 days and start at about RMB 2,000, including the setup fee and grey fabric cost.
After the grey fabric sampling is completed, we proceed to the next step, which is printing and dyeing sampling. If the customer needs a solid color fabric, you only need to provide us with a color sample or Pantone color number, and we can instruct the dyeing factory to make an accurate sample according to your requirements. The cost of solid color printing and dyeing sampling is usually around RMB 1,000, including the setup fee and fabric cost, and the turnaround time is about 7 days.
If you need camouflage fabric, we first need to verify the camouflage pattern you want to create. Each country has its own unique camouflage pattern, and our printing and dyeing company has a stock of more than 300 camouflage pattern plates. If we have the sample you need in stock, we can do the sampling directly. The cost is about 1500 RMB, including the setup fee and fabric cost, and the sampling time is about 10 days.
If the camouflage pattern you want is more unique and we don't have it in our pattern stock, then we need to create a new pattern. The cost of making a camouflage pattern plate is 800 RMB per color. For example, if your camouflage pattern consists of 4 colors, the pattern plate cost is 3200 RMB, and the pattern production time is about 4 days. After the pattern is created, we proceed to the next step of printing and dyeing sampling. Therefore, if the camouflage pattern you want is not in our pattern stock, the total cost of printing and dyeing sampling (taking four-color camouflage as an example) starts from 4700 RMB, excluding fabric cost, and the time is about 20 days.
Therefore, in general, we try to select grey fabrics and camouflage patterns from stock for sampling, because this can reduce time and cost. Of course, we have more than 100 kinds of camouflage fabrics in stock. If customers only need us to provide clothing for reference, they can choose from our existing fabrics, saving both the cost of fabric sampling and time.
